Find out more about who we are and what we offer…
Supportive Living merges the concepts of independent living and 24-hour care and support. It offers a home for people who value their autonomy and privacy, but also require assistance with daily living activities. Choice, shared responsibility, and managed risks are the key concepts on which Supportive Living is founded. Wherever possible, Supportive Living allows Residents the opportunity to direct their own lives to the maximum extent of their abilities.
‘Designated’ Supportive Living is a term used by Alberta Health Services which indicates that there is subsidy and placement of persons requiring Supportive Living services into “designated” units. Residents of WestPark Lodge are placed through Alberta Health Services Continuing Care. Personal care is supported by Alberta Health Services on-site Case Managers.
Dignity, independence, privacy, individuality, confidentiality and home amenities are hallmarks of Supportive Living
The care team at the WestPark Lodge creates Resident Care Plans, tailored and specific to each Resident, incorporating each person’s unique needs and preferences. These Care Plans are updated as needs change.
